Summary:

The Institutional Effectiveness Analyst is responsible for gathering data, preparing reports, analyzing data and statistics, and related functions and for using web-based reporting systems to improve data access and analysis for University leadership, academic support units, state and federal agencies, and other stakeholders; maintains a calendar of regular data reports, responds to ad hoc requests for data and information, and creates Institutional Effectiveness Annual reports in addition to standard reports from a variety of sources utilizing Microsoft Access and Excel.


Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the completion of research-oriented tasks assigned to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness by planning, preparing, and producing a variety of regular and ad hoc reports and publications to meet external regulations and internal needs.
- Supports the dissemination of information by compiling, analyzing, and publishing an extensive range of institutional data on the web and/or in print.
- Develops procedures to enhance the University’s ability to access and analyze information.
- Maintains research-related databases as required.
- Determines information needs and desired analyses by interviewing those requesting data collection and reporting.
- Participates in professional organizations, conferences, and workshops to keep informed of current ideas, research, and practices related to the field.
- Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
- Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses required by the VP of Institutional Effectiveness & Quality Assurance.
- Performs related duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the Office of Institutional Research.
- Performs related work as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Qualifications/Education:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree preferable in Statistics / Research Methodology or related to the same field.

Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the Institutional Research Unit, preferably in Academic Institutions.

Physical Demands:
- This is a full time job, and while performing the duties of this job. Skills and coordination are required while working in coordination with other departments

- To work on occasional weekends according to the overtime policy.

- MOH License Nurse with UAE Experience
- Coordinates with Healthcare Professionals in creating and conducting Health Awareness Plans for students & staffs.
- Maintains reports of the staffs and students and monitors the changes of their conditions.
- Prepares request for medicines and other needed materials in the clinic and provide an inventory on monthly basis.
