Mission:


To equip students with the scientific knowledge and the practical skills to solve problems, conduct research, and create goods and services in the various fields of biotechnology nationally regionally and internationally. The college aims at fostering local talent within its various fields of biosciences by sowing in them the seeds of scientific knowledge and investigation and thereby preparing them to take global challenges.

Produce graduate students with contemporary knowledge and skills necessary to make them competent in national and international work force in biosciences applications in life.



Program Objectives


  • To develop in-depth knowledge and skills in the fields of biochemistry, instrumental chemical analysis, bioprocess engineering and manufacturing processes



  •  To complete research projects using various laboratory experimentations and bioinformatics computer technology in various fields of biotechnology such as medical biotechnology, agricultural Biotechnology, Improving Technologies and Environmental Biotechnology.



  • To learn how to work in a safe and ethical manner recognizing the importance of biosafety and industry regulations



  •  To study general subjects such as Molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry, physics and mathematics. In addition, students learn core topics in medical biotechnology such as molecular genetics, molecular and genetic diagnosis, drug bioengineering, advanced genetic engineering, Immunology, cancer biology and genetics. All of these subjects have covered theoretical and practical skills.



  •  To develop problem-solving abilities and important communication skills including seminar presentation and report writing and courses in Marketing / IPR.
